The New Zealand School Nurses Pay Equity Working Group
The NZSN PEWG is made up of members who are committed to championing pay equity for School Nurses. It formed in August 2022 at the request of school nurses eager to unite and has a strong an active membership. This group meets monthly via zoom.

The New Zealand School Nurses Research Group
The NZSNRG is a collaboration between several researchers to expand the existing research base of School Nursing in New Zealand, which provides
- A quarterly forum to discuss School Nursing Research in New Zealand which allows members to share collective knowledge, and seek input/advice/feedback to enhance current and future research projects.
- An opportunity for collaboration between nurses at all stages of their research careers, from Student nurse through to PHD.
- A community of learning underpinned by the values of whakaute (respect), atawhai (kindness), ngaiotanga (professionalism) and manaakitanga (helping and supporting one another)

Membership criteria:
Nurses actively involved in research through a tertiary Institution whose subject matter is specifically focused on School Nursing in Aotearoa.

The New Zealand School Nurse Leaders Hui
School Nurses are located all over NZ. The NZSNLH offers the chance for nurse leaders from various localities and funding models to meet together and share common practice and raise any issues.
This group meets together quarterly via zoom.
Membership Criteria:
Members of this group must be employed in a Nurse Leader position supervising/directing/managing/supporting school nurses in New Zealand.

New Zealand School Nurses Community Nurse-Prescribers Forum
Nursing practice continues to evolve rapidly, focusing on providing 'top of scope' care for patients. The Community Nurse Prescriber pathway is one example. This forum connects school nurses who are entering, completing, or have completed the Nurse Prescriber pathway.
Membership Criteria:
Members of this group must be enrolling, engaged or have completed their Community Nurse Prescriber Pathway.
