MOE update on COVID for schools

  • 2 February 2021

The Ministry of Education recently released this helpful information for schools with a communications template to explain your schools COVID 19 procedures to your school community. This may be helpful in considering any communication also going out from School Based Health Services. There is emerging international evidence from America of the value of Telehealth (1), (2), as a substitute service for adolescents in lieu of SBHS being able to operate during lock down which you may also like to review and consider whether this is something you may wish to plan for in the event NZ re-enters alert levels 3 or 4 and schools face further closures.
